In addition to our versatile obstacle setup we have developed a way in which we can conduct skateboard clinics in non-traditional skate settings such as unsealed or rough surfaces and grassed areas.
At the site inspection we determine the suitability of the surface proposed for use and if required we install a portable floor for the clinic.
Once assembled the floor sits approximately 250mm above the ground.
The additional flooring has been well received by beginners in particular as its shock absorption qualities are really felt when taking a fall.
Along with the skate infrastructure we use a table and tent to conduct sign-up and act as point of inquiry.
We also use a large white board to convey information such as basic rules, sign-up info and vacancies in up-coming session times.
